What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and keep you logged in.
Cookies we use
Nuliko currently uses only strictly necessary cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| nuliko-session | Keeps you logged in securely (HttpOnly, not accessible to JavaScript) | 7 days | Strictly necessary |
| nuliko_cookie_consent | Remembers your cookie preference choice | 12 months (localStorage) | Strictly necessary |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics — measures anonymous website usage to help us improve. Only set if you accept analytics. | Up to 2 years | Analytics (optional) |
Analytics cookies (optional)
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular and where people run into difficulty — so we can improve Nuliko. This is entirely optional:
- Analytics cookies are off by default.
- They only load if you click "Accept analytics" on our cookie banner.
- You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
- We never send children's names, writing content, or personal identifiers to Google Analytics — only anonymous usage data.
If you choose "Necessary only", no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics does not load at all.
Third-party cookies
If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics sets cookies governed by Google's privacy policy. If Stripe (our payment processor) sets cookies during the checkout process, those are governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from logging in. For help managing cookies in your browser, visit aboutcookies.org.
