1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Nuliko (nuliko.com), operated by Nuliko Ltd (company number 17401531, registered at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ). By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

2. Who can use Nuliko

Only a parent or legal guardian may create an account. You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for your child's use of the platform and for all activity under your account. Children aged 4–12 may use Nuliko under parental supervision.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your password secure. You must not share your account with anyone else. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at hello@nuliko.com.

4. Lesson credits and purchases

Nuliko operates on a credit-based system. Details of current pricing, free credits, and how credits work are available on our Pricing page.

• Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
• Purchased credits do not expire — they remain available for use indefinitely.
• Free credits (signup bonus, referral rewards, feedback rewards) expire 14 days after being granted. You will receive email reminders before they expire.
• Refunds for purchased credits can be requested within 14 days of purchase for unused lessons only (pro-rata). After 14 days, unused purchased credits remain usable but are no longer eligible for monetary refund. See our Refund & Cancellation policy for full details.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are handled directly by Stripe and never touch our servers. By making a purchase, you authorise the charge. For refunds, see our Refund & Cancellation policy.

6. AI-generated content

Learning guides, feedback, and assessments are generated by AI. While we strive for accuracy, AI output may contain errors and should be treated as a helpful tool, not a definitive educational assessment. Nuliko is not a substitute for a qualified teacher.

7. Your content

You and your child retain ownership of all work submitted to Nuliko (including photos of handwriting). By uploading content, you grant Nuliko a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the service (AI assessment, progress tracking). We do not use submitted content for any other purpose.

8. Acceptable use

You must use Nuliko in accordance with our Acceptable Use policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

9. Intellectual property

The Nuliko platform, brand, design, and underlying technology are owned by Nuliko Ltd. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nuliko's liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, the Acceptable Use policy, or if we are required to do so by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
